Comprising Garry Koehler & Robert Mackay, The Bobkatz hail from the popular Seaside City of Hervey Bay in Queensland.

The Bobkatz collaboration combines Garry's song writing and vocals with Rob's multi instrumental talents and harmonies. They like to call their music “Organic Country" that depicts real stories of real people and real places. Brisbane Author and Music Journalist Ritchie York described The Bobaktz music with “its that out on the patio kind of feel that takes it to another place”.

The Bobkatz released four singles from the “Sweet Water “ album (Produced by Mike Flanders) between May 2006 and January 2008 being “Welcome to Queensland”, “Little River Town (Howlong)”, “Sweetwater” and “The Man in the Picture"

The Bobkatz national growing popularity was confirmed by packed venues at their appearances at Tamworth 2009 & the Gympie Muster 2008. Touring is kept to a minimum for the guys due to writing , recording & travel commitments for their Music Publishing Company PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL MUSIC P/L with offices in Queensland & Nashville USA.

The Bobkatz current  Album "THE WRITER" was recorded in NASHVILLE & AUSTRALIA IN 2007-2008 under Producer MIKE FLANDERS & has received  rave reviews through out the industry. All singles : "THE LONG HAUL" , "THE RED TOP TABLE"  ",  "THANK YOU" ,  "THE FIRST STEP"  ..&   "THE WRITER"  made it to  National Country Singles Chart &  into the CMC top 30..

The Bobkatz are currently workng on their next Album & have just finished the clip to the first Single from the Album "The Old HR"  it will be airing on CMC & has been released to radio....
