How many of you are familiar with the term "Organic Country"? That's the name The Bobkatz give to their own original music... I have to admire those who "throw off the shackles of the norm", & do what their head & heart , point them in the direction that their music should go, this could be said of Robert Mackay & Garry Koehler who together are The Bobkatz..Garry is the writer & lead vocal of the combo, whilst Rob contributes his multi instumental talents & harmonies.."The Writer" carries 12 tracks, & at first listen , the thought would be "hey thats different", but after a few playings , you find the "different" sound really growing on you.
